The C420 PAPR system, a powerful, efficient, comfortable, lightweight and affordable PAPR system with top performing filter cartridges, filters contaminants from ambient air and provides a constant, filtered airflow of >120 lpm to the user's facepiece.
The cooling effect of constant filtered airflow into the facepiece provides a high degree of comfort, greatly reduces pulmonary stress, preserves strength and mental acuity, and will help ensure your mission success by extending operational endurance and facilitating heavier work performance, even after extended wearer times in humid, heated and highly stressful missions, than would be possible or practical using negative-pressure respirators alone. The airflow also prevents fogging in the facepiece and drastically reduces any feelings of claustrophobia.
The C420 is air-tight and can be effectively decontaminated of CBRN agents and other toxic industrial chemicals. In addition batteries may be “hot-swapped" during use in a warm zone environment. The battery compartment is also air-tight and decontaminable.

POWERED AIR PURIFYING RESPIRATOR (PAPR) SYSTEM
SafetyTech International NIOSH-Approved C420 PAPR systems feature the powerful and efficient C420 blower. During use, ambient air is pulled through two combination cartridges by the battery powered C420 blower to supply a constant filtered airflow of greater than 130 liters per minute into the selected face mask.
The cooling effect of constant, filtered, airflow into the mask provides a high degree of comfort, prevents fogging, greatly reduces pulmonary stress, and helps preserve user strength and mental acuity and also reduces any feelings of claustrophobia.
The C420 is available with a variety of primary (10-year shelf-life) and economical long-life rechargeable or disposable alkaline battery power options. Universal chargers are available for all rechargeable battery types.
